WHAT OTHER COMPANIES DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW – A MUST READ FOR ANY HOMEOWNER!

HOW MUCH CHEMICAL WILL THEY APPLY?.

Many operators will use far less chemical than what they should which allows them to make more money or provide a service at a cheaper price. With the final result being a chemical soil barrier that lasts less than half the time.

WHAT CHEMICAL WILL THEY ACTUALLY USE?

It is well known by people within the industry that many people will claim to use a premium product but they will then use a cheaper and inferior product to maximise their profit. We find this to be a disgusting and unethical practice as this will more than likely result in termites reinfesting the building.

IS THIS TECHNICIAN QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED?

Unfortunately anyone without any experience can be employed by a pest control business and provided with a trainee licence.

A trainee can legally carry out all forms of termite management and chemical application providing they have ‘indirect supervision’.

‘Indirect supervision’ is merely a mobile phone that allows the trainee to ring their boss so they can ask what they are supposed to be doing.

At Safe-Side we only employ fully licensed and experienced technicians overseen by a registered builder with over 20 years experience in construction.

If an operator does not have sound knowledge of construction, they will not have the knowledge of how termites may be entering the structure and how to approach the problem. As most home owners have limited or no experience with termites, some operators may try to lead you astray, At Safe-Side we can educate you to navigate the mine-field.
